4th Generation iPod Nanos and Windows Vista…

While the creator has been taking some time off I see….I just wanted to throw this out there for all of you who might be confused as to why your computer keeps crashing when you plug in your iPod. I have a 4GB, 4th generation iPod nano, which up until the new iTunes update, worked perfectly with my computer. Just recently, after installing the update, the computer shut down and the blue screen of death popped up. I checked with Apple and some other disgruntled nano owners and we’ve all determined that iTunes is not working properly with Windows Vista. Until Apple is able to figure out what is going on, I reccomend you pretty much leave iTunes alone. Crashes cause memory to be lost and can damage various inner parts of the mother board…so just be careful.

Unfortunately, I think we’ll be waiting some time since Apple doesn’t seem to be making any huge efforts to fix the bug…but I just wanted to let you know. For more information, you can go to http://discussions.apple.com/category.jspa?categoryID=154 to read the forums and for tech. support. Thanks!
